Exercise
     

60 minutes of moderate exercise each day will help children to stay healthy and maintain a desirable weight – but for children exercise is often part of their everyday play with the focus being on active fun rather than fitness.

Regular activity helps children to:

Increase stamina and strength
Lowering their risk of developing diseases such as cancer
Build strong bones
Improve confidence
Develop a positive body image
Sleep soundly, improving day time focus and
attention span

 
 

The physical exercise module is based around learning a new game from a different country,as well as revisiting more traditional games.
